Compressed air is ejected from the air bin to lift the tape and form an air cushion between the belt and the groove surface of the roller. The disadvantage of air cushion belt conveyor is that the cost is higher, due to the loss of air pressure along the gas supply line and the energy consumption is larger, especially when the conveying line is longer, in addition, the local overload will hinder the belt support, which is not suitable for transporting heavier materials and block materials.

Magnetic mat conveyor is almost noiseless, cheap to install and maintain. The disadvantage of magnetic pad belt conveyor is that special magnetic tape is required to ensure that the lateral movement of the tape is more complicated, and the material conveying range is limited.
